Assoc. Prof. Dr. Aşıcı explains green economic transformation

Environmental technologies, sustainable energy, and recycling companies that have had a name for themselves worldwide upon their innovations in R&D and innovations particularly in the recent period are getting prepared for ENTECH on November 4. Exhibiting companies will unite their products with international buyers at ENTECH – Environmental Technologies, Recycling and Zero Waste Expo and Zero Waste Forum, taking place concurrently with the exhibition.
 
 
Assoc. Prof. Dr. Ahmet Atıl Aşıcı, who is among the speakers at  Zero Waste Forum and has been serving as a faculty member at the Department of Management Engineering at İTÜ since 2009, will explain the economy of happiness for his audience. After having received B.S. from the Department of Management Engineering at İTÜ (Istanbul Technical University) in 1991 and M.A. from the Department of Economics at Boğaziçi University in 1999, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Aşıcı completed his doctoral studies at University of Geneva in 2007. He served as an Associate Economic Affairs Officer at the unit that produces the Trade and Development Report at the UNCTAD (United Nations Conference on Trade and Development) from 2005 to 2006..
 
Assoc. Prof. Dr. Ahmet Atıl Aşıcı received the award on Best Macroeconomy Article at the conference held in Cairo in 2007. He has numerous fields of study including international financial architecture, financial crisis, exchange rate regimes, and the relation between growth and pressure of nature
